Virtual conference highlights the future of intelligent and flexible robotics
FRAMINGHAM, Mass. – The 2026 Robotics Applications Conference (RAC 26), hosted by Robotics 24/7 and Peerless Media, will take place virtually on September 16, 2026, bringing together robotics, manufacturing, warehouse, logistics and supply chain professionals to explore how companies are using robotics to solve real-world operational challenges.
The fifth annual virtual event, RAC 26, focuses on the practical application of robotics, artificial intelligence, software and automation. This year's sessions highlight a clear industry trend: the future of robotics isn't simply about deploying more robots. It's about making automated systems smarter, more flexible, better integrated and easier to scale.
RAC 26 begins at 12 PM EDT/9 AM PDT on September 16. Registration is now open.
What Is RAC 26?
RAC 26 is a virtual conference focused on real-world robotics applications across warehousing, fulfillment, manufacturing and supply chain operations.
The 2026 program examines how technologies such as AI, digital twins, AMRs, robotic charging infrastructure and warehouse orchestration can improve productivity, flexibility and operational performance.
As companies move from experimenting with robotics to deploying automation at scale, the questions they need to answer are changing.
Instead of simply asking “What robot should we buy?”, businesses need to consider how robots will integrate with existing systems, adapt to changing workflows, scale across facilities and deliver measurable operational value.
The virtual conference is relevant to professionals involved in robotics, warehouse automation, manufacturing, logistics, fulfillment, materials handling and supply chain technology.
Tim Culverhouse, Editorial Director of Robotics 24/7, will serve as the moderator for the 2026 Robotics Applications Conference.
“I’m incredibly excited to host the 2026 Robotics Applications Conference,” Culverhouse said. “This is my third time moderating RAC, and I’m incredibly thankful to our speakers and sponsors for constructing a lineup that addresses a major challenge in the robotics industry: how are robotics and automation platforms deployed in real-world applications? RAC 26 will feature first-hand accounts of how robotics and automation platforms are deployed in real-world settings. Our readers want to hear these stories to help make more educated buying decisions. That’s what we’ve assembled for our virtual conference in 2026.”
Key robotics trends at RAC 26
RAC 26 features two Keynote presentations and four sessions that highlight several important trends shaping robotics in 2026:
Robotics is becoming a systems challenge
WMS, WES, WCS, orchestration platforms, charging infrastructure and robot fleets must work together
AI is expanding beyond the robot
AI can help with robot path planning, simulation, visualization and system optimization
Flexibility is becoming a competitive advantage
Companies want automation that can adapt to changing products, workflows and business requirements
Infrastructure matters
Software integration, charging and facility requirements can have a major impact on robotic performance and ROI
Business outcomes matter more than technology alone
Throughput, uptime, scalability, flexibility and cost increasingly determine the success of an automation project.
